Terms and Conditions
Details and legalities governing our fundraising raffle.
1. Eligibility:
•Entrants must be 18 years or older.
•Church staff and their immediate families are not eligible.
•Participation is open to all, regardless of purchase. A no-purchase entry method is available as outlined below.
2. Ticket Sales:
• Tickets are $100 each and non-refundable.
• A unique number will be assigned to each ticket purchased or free entry received.
• In the unlikely event the raffle is canceled, all ticket purchases will be refunded.
3. Eligibility Across States:
• Participants must be 18 years or older and comply with the laws and regulations of their state regarding participation in nonprofit raffles.
• By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that your participation is lawful in your state of residence.
• Inspiration Chapel assumes no responsibility for ensuring out-of-state compliance.
4. No-Purchase Necessary Option:
• To enter without purchasing a ticket, send a 3”x5” card with your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to:

• Free entries are limited to one per household and must be received by February 5, 2025.
• Free entries will be treated equally with purchased tickets in the drawing process.
5. Drawing Process:
• The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries (both purchased and free entries) after all 3,000 tickets are sold.
• The drawing will be held live on Facebook and YouTube. The date will be announced at least 7 days in advance.
6. Grand Prize:
• The grand prize is a new 2024 Ford F-150 STX Truck valued at approximately $40,000. Or a cash alternative of $30,000 is available.
• If the winner selects the truck, they will have the opportunity to choose the color and certain customization options in consultation with the dealership.
• The truck will be delivered to the winner within 60 days of the drawing, subject to dealership availability.
• Winners are responsible for federal income tax withholding, title and registration fees, and any other applicable costs.
7. Contingency Plan:
The goal is to sell 3,000 tickets by February 5, 2024. If this goal is not met:
• The deadline will be extended to March 5, 2024.
• If the goal of 3,000 tickets is still not met by March 5, 2024, the raffle will proceed, and a proportionate cash prize will be awarded based on the funds raised after expenses and donations.

• The drawing will occur no later than March 15, 2025, even if fewer than 3,000 tickets are sold.
8. Car Donations:
• At least two high-quality preowned vehicles will be donated to single mothers, fully inspected and repaired and made "road ready" by Inlign Automotive, with taxes and registration covered.
• As ticket sales and donations increase, we hope to give 10 or more vehicles to deserving single mothers and families.
• A panel of community minded leaders from various organizations will determine and prioritize the distribution of the gifted vehicles.
• All cars will be given during our worship service on Sunday, February 16, 2025. If delayed, our contingency date will be March 16, 2025. Recipients must be present to receive their gifted vehicle.
9. Winner's Tax Obligations:
• The grand prize winner will receive IRS Form W-2G for the value of the prize.
• If the prize value exceeds $5,000, the church will withhold 24% of the prize’s value for federal income taxes as required by law.
• Additional tax implications may apply; winners are encouraged to consult a tax professional.
10. Transparency and Updates:
• Updates on ticket sales, car donations, and the raffle drawing will be shared regularly on our website and social media.
• If ticket sales do not meet the goal by February 5, 2025, participants will be informed of next steps.
• Participant information will be used solely for the purposes of the raffle and will not be sold or shared with third parties.
11. Unclaimed Prizes:
• If the grand prize is not claimed within 30 days, the church reserves the right to redraw or use the prize for future fundraising efforts.
12. Legal Compliance:
• This raffle complies with all applicable state and federal laws, including Florida Statute 849.0935.
• Raffle tickets are not tax-deductible as charitable donations.
• Any donated vehicles or funds for vehicle repairs are tax-deductible as charitable donations.
• Inspiration Chapel is not responsible for unforeseen legal, financial, or logistical issues that may arise during the raffle process. All decisions by the church are final.
• Inspiration Chapel reserves the right to reschedule the drawing or adjust prize distribution due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
